Description

A top-down drone capture of a school of swirling menhaden bait fish. Menhaden live up to 10-12 years old and reach 15 inches in length. Menhaden eat both phytoplankton and zooplankton. Photo taken just off the coast of Southampton, NY, USA. 2022.
